You’ve heard of The Hunger Games and Squid Game. Now imagine a game in which people compete with each other—to be nice. Radical, right? Welcome to the #KindnessGames.
This game is real, and it’s coming to Bangkok.
The Challenge: How far can one act of kindness go?
We’re going to drop 1,000 kindness cards throughout Bangkok. We want to see how many people will add to each chain of kindness, and where each act of kindness will end up—Chiang Rai? Pattani? Ubon Ratchathani?
Here’s how it works
Get a kindness card
They are randomly distributed! You may randomly receive one or try to find one in the wild.
Do an act of kindness
It could be as simple as paying for a stranger’s coffee or helping someone carry their shopping bags across the street.
Record what
you did.
Post a picture, a video, or a story to Facebook with the card. Use the hashtag #KindnessGames and follow the hashtag to spot your card in the wild.
Pass it on
Give your kindness card to the person you were kind to, and ask them to continue the game.
In honor of all the acts of kindness that NGOs, CSOs, nonprofit workers, and community groups do every day, we will kick off the Kindness games on February 27, 2022, World NGO Day Bangkok.
